NOT ALL LAW PRACTICES HAVE THE SAME MISSION...
All offices are different, some are unique. What makes my legal practice distinctive from others? Because I have retired and have decided to return to work part-time, it has given me some opportunities not available when I worked full time. How so?
1. My overhead is very low. I work out of my home and have a person help with typing. There are no full-time employees.
2. This has allowed me to charge some extraordinarily low fees to my clients. These fees are affordable. Let me give you a few examples. Non-Contested Divorce is $400.00. Bankruptcy is $500.00. The last adoption fee I quoted was $500.00. DUI cases (1st) are only $500.00. I offer reduced prices to seniors over the age of 65.
3. I have almost 40 years of legal experience. My practice has included capital murder cases and other serious crimes and important civil matters. This gives me a great understanding of which is the best method to represent you.
4. My loyalty is with my clients. My loyalty is ALWAYS with my clients. You have my assurance that my representation will be designed to help you and you alone.
5. One of the hallmarks of my representation is to assist couples seeking divorces to find a resolution without the expensive cost of Court. We are blessed with having two fine judges in Blount County. If you must go to Court it is my experience you will be treated fairly.
6. Some cases are harder to prepare, some involve more time, money, and emotions. Your case is the most important to you. It will be for me.
Did you know that child support is a mathematical calculation based upon gross income, payment to insurance, prior child support obligations, and several other factors. You should ask yourself a simple question. Are my children (child) receiving the support to which they are entitled? I can answer that question for you.
Is your spouse behind in Child Support Payments? If so, I can help you collect what is owed. Did you know that you may even receive a court-ordered legal fee, plus reimbursement for you filing fee? That's true.
When should I petition the Court for my back child support? I'd give you a general rule that if your ex-spouse or parent of your child is two months in arrears it is time to go to Court.
